Students taking the ACTFL Exam

Before signing up to take the ACTFL Exam for the Certificate of Advanced Proficiency, please send us a copy of your accommodations letter to [email protected] at least 10 days in advance of your test date.

In Canvas, complete the quiz by marking "no" for all date options, so we can work with you to create a custom schedule.

All documentation submitted is kept confidential and is used only to determine eligibility for test accommodations. ACTFL score reports do not include any specifics about the disability or accommodation provided.

Test takers who take a test with an accommodation receive a standard certificate, as any test taker would, and there is nothing on it to indicate that an accommodation was provided. Accommodations are provided to extend an equal opportunity to all test takers, of all abilities.
